Instructor: Martin McCall

Currently Teaching: Drums - Kit, Congas/Bongos, Bodhran(Irish frame drum, Taiko(Japanese Drumming), Doumbek(Middle Eastern Drum), Djembe(AfricanDrum), Rub Board(Cajun washboard).  Also Shaker and Guiro technique.

Required items: Drumsticks and a copy of Mel Bay's "You Can Teach Yourself Drums" for beginners.  Access to a drum kit will be necessary for a student to learn properly.  A practice pad will do at first for rudimental training.  These can be purchased at the Lancaster Music store.  The use of a metronome (time keeping device) is most helpful also.  A spiral notebook designated just for drum lessons is needed for more advanced students.

Please Note: While I set no age limit, students are required to be able to behave and pay attention in a mature manner on their own.
